Join us on Wednesdays during this year’s Summer Programs to enjoy conversations with members of our summer faculty. The professors and topics are different each week, so there’s always something new to explore.

Topic

This week we welcome biblical scholars Michael Gorman, Douglas Moo, and Brent Strawn for a roundtable discussion. Join us at noon in Room 100, and feel free to bring your lunch.

Speakers

Michael Gorman is Raymond E. Brown Chair in Biblical Studies and Theology at St. Mary's Seminary & University in Baltimore, Maryland. He is teaching this summer on The Spirituality of Paul.

Douglas Moo is Biblical Studies Professor Emeritus at Wheaton College (Illinois) and a member of the NIV Committee on Bible Translation. This summer he is teaching on The Letter to the Romans.

Brent Strawn is D. Moody Smith Distinguished Professor of Old Testament and Professor of Law at Duke University. This summer he is teaching A Skeptic in Scripture: Ecclesiastes & Its Friends.

Format

Wednesday Lunchtime Conversations will be offered onsite at Regent College. These events are open to the public, and no registration is required.

While these lunchtime events will not be available online, many of the faculty participants are also delivering Evening Public Lectures that will be livestreamed and available for a limited time on Regent's YouTube channel. Visit rgnt.net/live to learn more!
